Nomi Prins: journalist  and Senior Fellow at Demos, a non-partisan public policy research & advocacy organization dedicated to the creation of a more equitable economy. Her writings frequently appear in Mother Jones, The Nation, Alternet, The American Prospect, The Guardian among others.  Nomi’s most recent book “It Takes a Pillage: Behind the Bonuses, Bailouts, and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street” is a must read for an insider’s look into the causes of the economic crisis.

Chris Hedges: one of our nation’s most insightful cultural critics and author. He is currently a senior fellow at the Nation Institute.  For almost 20 years he was a foreign correspondent in Central America, the Middle East, Africa & the Balkans for such news media as The New York Times, Christian Science Monitor & National Public Radio.  He has  taught at Columbia, New York & Princeton universities. Chris writes a weekly column, appearing every Monday, for TruthDig.com. His most recent book “Empire of Illusion: The End of Literacy and the Triumph of Spectacle” from Nation Books.

Drew Westen: Professor of Psychology at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia and founder of the political consulting firm Westen Strategies. His major areas of research include personality disorders, eating disorders, and political psychology. During the past election seasons, Drew has been a political consultant advising Democractic congressional and presidential candidates.  Drew’s book, “The Political Brain: The Role of Emotion in Deciding the Fate of the Nation”— is an insightful exploration into the psychology behind our recent political choices.
